New Release day for Sugar, Spice and Betty Boots!

Hi Everyone!

It is new release day over at That Craft Place Ltd! Which means new Betty Boots! I am so excited, as I always love getting new Betty's to play with!

This Betty is called "Whisper" She is available today for purchase at That Craft Place Ltd. She was a challenge for me as I still seem to be struggling with folds, but she was fun to color. I used paper by "Authentique" called Wishes which I purchased at Scrapp N Savvy

Sugar & Betty's Challenge Blog goes live!!

Hi Everyone!

Well WOW, boy is the year flying! It is March already! It feels like Christmas was just last week! March is a big month for me; Jerald and I are celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary! I can't believe how lucky I am! Today also means that it is exactly 2 months until my baby sister arrives from Brisbane Australia! I am so excited to see her!

Today is also exciting because my favorite characters, Sugar, Spice and Betty Boots are starting their very own blog! The Sugar & Betty Challenge Blog goes live today, and there is lots of fun to be had. The monthly challenges are "anything goes" with an occaisional twist.

So this month I used Betty "Back to Work", as always I love coloring Betty. This Betty is just one of the lovely new releases that are available today for purchase at That Craft Place Ltd.

Whimsy Stamps Redo

Hi Everyone,

This week has been a relatively quiet week for me, although I spend most of last week spring cleaning (yes, I know it is only February!) in preparation for my youngest sister's arrival on May 1.
So I cleaned my sewing room (which I haven't seen the floor of in about a year!) and organized my fabrics so that I can easily pick out a project to do.

I am still working on recoloring my old cards, which has been fun an enlightening. This has forced me to start working on my Kit and Clowder classes again. Before I lost my job I never seemed to have the time to work on my classes, but now I am making it a priority as I want to continue to improve my coloring. If you have not checked out Alyce's classes over at Kit and Clowder, make sure that you head on over and check them out. They are very reasonably priced and the information that you get is priceless.

So today's offering is from Whimsy Stamps and is called Love You Slow Much. As most of you know my favorite stamps of all time are by Sylvia Zet and are called the "Wee Ones" I loved coloring this image, and I am looking forward to having the time to color some more soon. My card this challenge is from Lacy Sunshine and is called Elli Ella. Lacy Sunshine is among my favorite stamps, and this one was adorable to color. I turned Elli into a boys baby card, as I am always on the lookout for boy cards, as I tend to do a lot more girl cards.
