Well it is a lovely Sunday here in Sugar Land Texas. It has finally cooled down to a lovely 69 degrees.

So today here is another of my releases for That Craft Place Ltd. I absolutely love the Sugar, Spice and Betty Boots range.

Sugar & Spice and Betty Boots Release

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a great Halloween! So today over at That Craft Place Ltd they are having a huge release of Sugar and Spice & Betty Boots images. They are all absolutely gorgeous. So head over to their Digi Store. So every day this week I am going to be adding a new card to my blog from this collection. So today's image is "Baker's Girl. I turned her into an 8x8 recipe card for Gingerbread Cupcakes.

I used papers from Authentique's Believe lin and the embellishments are from the Knick Knack's line by Paper Studio called Christmas Sweets.

Elizabeth Craft Designs

Happy Thursday everyone.

Last night I met with friends for our monthly card swap at Jade Cafe. If you like chinese food, this place is awesome.

So this is the card I made. I used Elizabeth Craft Designs Accordion fancy label die and their "Peel-Off Christmas ball stickers. I got to do one of my favorite things, play with glitter. I was thrilled with how the card turned out.

Just Inspirational Challenges

Hi everyone!

It is a beautiful Wednesday here in Texas, the weather has finally cooled off, so we are just in the 80's now. I have finally caught up after having surgery so I am finally getting to some "fun" coloring.

So I used a Meljens Designs image for my card this week. 

So, I loved coloring this card as it reminded me of our life in Colorado where we lived for 9 years before moving to Houston. I actually miss having the 4 seasons of Colorado. Houston has 2 seasons, Summer and not Summer! The paper I used was the Autumn Crisp collection by Amercian Crafts. I also used Orange corrugated paper from the Fall & Halloween Corrugate Stack by DCWV that I purchased from Joann Fabrics.

The copic colors that I used were:

Greens: YG61, YG63, YG61

Blues: BG72, BG75, BG78

Yellows: Y23, YR21, Y26

Browns: E70, E71, E74, E77

Oranges: YR04, YR07, YR18

Reds: R14, R24, R46, R59

The 2 leaf brads I have had for many years in my stash so I was glad to use them. I also used Winks of Stella (Clear) over the letters FALL. I was really pleased with the outcome.

Before and After

Hi everyone,

I am still playing catch up after surgery so when I deciding what card to make for my Mother-In-Law's birthday I decided to revisit an old favorite. The stamp is from Whimsy Stamps Wee One's collection by Silvia Zet called Mary. and you can find it on the Whimsy Stamps Website here.

So I did a before and after. Before classes at Kit and Clowder and after skin and Hair classes at Kit and Clowder. If you are looking to improve your coloring, head over there to check out the classes. They are well worth the money.
